There is something fun about making your own pizza and I think Half Baked Harvest does a really nice job making her recipes easy and delicious. Here’s my take on the Garlicky Greens Pizza recipe that is featured in her “everyday” cookbook:
- Time and Effort: Easy ( <30 min prep + baking time)
- Skill Level: Easy to Medium (there are some tips I have to make this on the easier side)
- Suggestions:
- I use premade pizza dough – making the dough is fun but buying premade makes this recipe so much faster
- I skip step 2 of heating garlic cloves and mashing with the pesto and lemon. Instead, I just use premade pesto and add a little lemon juice to it. I think it tastes just as good but also doesn’t dirty another pan which makes my life easier for cleanup.
- I bake on a specific baking sheet for pizza to ensure the crust can get nice and crispy
- I bake it on the shorter side (~13 min)
